José Camarano

José Camarano is a Brazilian fashion editor and consultant from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

As a fashion editor, he works for Vogue, GQ, Harpers Bazaar and Vanity Fair BR magazines, partnering with photographers that range from Vavá Ribeiro and Marcelo Krasilcic to Terry Richardson, living and working between Rio, São Paulo and New York City.

In 2007 he launched GEMA TV, the very first Brazilian video web-channel focused on fashion films. After it became a big hit, demand grew for José to curate art and fashion exhibitions, events, classes and workshops all across the country.

Presently, José runs HALE.AG, a creative agency where him and his team creates on and offline content for several clients, such as Coca Cola, Corona and Canva.

He is now the Creative Director of O’CYANO Magazine, focused on fashion, surf, arts, sports and bio diversity, as a Creative Consultant for Farm Rio, one of the biggest fashion brands from Brazil.
